The short version

Some links on this site, including every tool link in our starter kit and full toolkit lists, are Amazon affiliate links. If you buy through one, TVP PPF Manual earns a commission. It costs you nothing extra.

The details

As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.

That sentence is required by the Amazon Associates program, and it is the heart of this page: when you click one of our Amazon links (they carry our Associate tag, ecobuy-20) and buy the product, Amazon pays us a commission out of its own margin. The price you pay is the same as if you had found the product yourself.

What the commission is. Our links fall mainly under Amazon’s Power & Hand Tools category, which currently pays approximately 3% on qualifying purchases. The exact rate is set by Amazon, varies by product category, and Amazon can change it at any time, so treat that figure as approximate, not a promise.

Why we link the way we do. We keep one buying path, our affiliate links, for the tools in the library. Two honest reasons:

  1. It keeps every viewer buying the exact verified variant we teach with (wrong variants are a real problem with tools like blades and knifeless tape).
  2. The commissions help fund the library and this site.

What the commission does not do. It does not choose the tools. Every item in our kit lists is there because it is used in the lessons: the recommendation comes first, the link second. If a product stops meeting the standard, it comes off the list regardless of commission.

Prices. Prices shown next to tool links are checked periodically and are approximate. Amazon changes prices constantly; the price at checkout is the price that counts.
